Veterans Appreciation Breakfast

Veteran’s Day evolved from the Old Armistice Day ending WWI in 1918.  It was to be the war that ended all wars, of course we know that it didn’t, and today it has changed to “Veteran’s Day” to remember and honor veterans of succeeding wars.  On Nov. 3 at 9:30 a.m. Veterans are invited to breakfast at South Iredell Senior Center to honor the brave individuals who have defended our liberty and freedom over the years.  Guest speaker Cindy Jacobs will provide a special tribute to Mooresville Veterans.   If you plan to attend please call 704-662-3337.
