Spring Gardening Class

If you are a vegetable gardener or a flower gardener, you are invited to join Carol Mitchell in a class on Sowing the Seeds and Harvesting a Bountiful Crop. There will be some free tomato plants to help you get started early on your tomato crop. If you have a house plant, shrub, or garden question of any kind, please bring your questions. Mitchell has 35 years of experience in the Gardening Profession and is a Professional Fern Grower. She and her husband own Mountainside Farm and grow True Boston Ferns and Alfalfa hay. They were the owners of Taylorsville Home and Garden for 28 years and live in Taylorsville. This class is being sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care for Iredell and Alexander Counties and will take place at the Senior Center on Wed., April 1 at 12:30 p.m. Please call 704-662-3337 by March 26 to attend.
