SENIOR TAR HEEL LEGISLATOR

The Senior Tar Heel Legislature recently met and finalized its legislative agenda for 2017. Come join Senior Tar Heel Delegate, Denise Bair on Mon., Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. at South Iredell Senior Center to learn what’s on the agenda. Mrs. Bair will share how the N.C. Tar Heel Legislature advocates on the behalf of older adults, provide information on the Governor’s Advisory Council, and discuss ways that older adults can individually advocate for senior centers, and older adult services. There will be an open dialog session for you to have your voice heard, make your opinion count, and have your questions answered. Mrs. Bair is eager to get your feedback on issues of concern. Remember, decisions by Legislation affect you and the services you receive as an older adult, so keep informed and give your input.
