Scott Ainslie in concert

A Delta Blues singer, guitarist and historian, Scott Ainslie will be performing as part of the Saint Patrick’s Solas Leighis concert series, with a preview at the 10:30 am worship service.   Armed with a lion-hearted voice and no fewer than three or four instruments – acoustic guitar, National slide guitar, fretless gourd banjo, diddley bow (one-string slide instrument),  Scott’s work reflects his reverence and affection for both African and American culture and music, and demonstrates how much we – as Americans – have in common.  A Meet-the-Artist reception follows the concert.  Tickets available at the door.  All proceeds benefit community outreach.
