Scams and What You Need to Know

Officer Patricia Ashley Crump with the Mooresville Police Department will be at South Iredell Senior Center on Fri., July 11 at 11 a.m. to educate the community on some of the scams that are lurking to take advantage of older adults. Scams not only prey on older adults that live in their home but also on seniors living in a facility. So, caregivers you need to be on alert and knowledgeable of current scams that target older adults. You will learn the new techniques and scams criminals are currently using to attack the more vulnerable - older adults and how to protect yourself and those you love or care for against these crimes.
