Ribbon Cutting - Mooresville Police Dept. Project Lazarus

On Wednesday, November 28 at 10 a.m., the Mooresville Police Department will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for a permanent prescription pill drop box located in the lobby of the police department, 750 West Iredell Avenue.

The secure pill drop box will allow the public an opportunity to dispose of potentially dangerous expired, unused or unwanted prescription drugs. "Citizens can safely and securely dispose of these medications by using this drop box," said Officer Lauren Childers. "The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked." The prescription pill drop box will be housed in the lobby of the Police Department.
