"Reels and Wheels Drive In Movie and Car Show"

Drive in technology has come a long way since the 50’s.  With today’s FM Transmitter technology, a simple field or parking lot can be converted into a nostalgic drive in theater. 

This technology is allowing us to turn the Mooresville Intermediate School into the MIS Drive-In Theater for a fundraiser to benefit the students who wish to attend the 2012 Space Camp event.

On October 29th, 2011, Mobile Drug Testing and Mooresville Intermediate School will be presenting the "Reels and Wheels" Drive in Movie and Car Show.  The event will be hosted in parallel with the Good Guys Rod and Custom Show at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.  Therefore, a large crowd of classics and customs are expected to crowd the Mooresville Intermediate School grounds. 

Come on out and enjoy the nostalgic walk down memory lane!   If you don’t have a classic car, bring your lawn chairs!  There is room for all to enjoy the drive in movie.

Registration After October 15^th:                     $20.00 donation

First 50 drive in movie spots are guaranteed, all others are first come/ first serve based on availability.

SPACE CAMP DETAILS: 

Every year, the Mooresville Graded School District raises money to send kids to Space Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. Last year, MGSD sent 255 sixth-graders at a cost of $320 per child. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to the Mooresville Intermediate School Space Camp Program.
