Public Open House @ Mooresville Mill
The future Merinos Home Furnishings Warehouse south of downtown Mooresville will hold a public open house on May 9 from 6-8 p.m., as the long-vacant former mill building prepares for its first tenant since Burlington Industries ceased making textiles there in 1999.
Owner Michael Bay said Wednesday the store’s name has been changed from the previously announced Wow! Furniture Outlet to better reflect his business roots. His family’s Merinos Furniture and Rug Company has been a rug importer in Europe since the early 1970's.
