Pet Life Celebration

September 14th is National Pet Memorial Day. To commemorate the day, Pet Pilgrimage is hosting an evening of reflection and celebration ? an opportunity to honor pets that have touched our lives and a chance to pay-it-forward by touching the lives of pets still in search of their forever home through the Humane Society of Iredell. As we honor pets that are no longer with us, pet families are welcome to bring well-behaved leashed pets to share in the occasion. Luminaries can be personalized and lit in honor of your pets, as well as in honor of those pets that are still in search of a home through the Humane Society of Iredell. Luminaries are $5, benefitting the Humane Society and can be purchased prior to the event or at the event. Art supplies will be available for personalizing luminaries at the event. Program Schedule: Luminary preparation, Blessing of pets, fellowship and refreshments 6:30-7:30 pm Balloon Release, Luminary Lighting & Celebration Service 7:30-8:00 pm Pet supply collection boxes will be available ? the Humane Society?s immediate needs can be found on the flyer at www.petpilgrimage.com
