National Senior Center Month Open House

South Iredell Senior Center is celebrating Nation Senior Center Month by highlighting the theme building momentum! Senior Centers are the future of what aging can be and help to keep individuals active and involved throughout their older adult life. Innovative programs hosted at senior centers can change the perception of aging, and create important community resources for when you need them. It’s a place where friendships are developed and a hub for all needed as one ages. Enjoying your life as you age is key to maintaining good health, happiness, and aging successfully. The South Iredell Senior Center strives to be a part of your aging success story and invites you to their open house on Wed., Sept. 5 from 1-3 p.m. There will be door prizes, tours, refreshments, and more. Please RSVP to 704-662-3337 by Sept. 4. The Senior Center is located in the lower level of the Charles Mack Citizen Center and open for those age 60+. Come get acquainted and learn about all the things that are available to you, so you can build your momentum as you age!
