Mooresville-Lake Norman Day of Caring

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: United Way, Mooresville-Lake Norman office, is having their Day of Caring on September 15th at the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson with a kick-off at 7:45 am.  This is a wonderful opportunity to lend a helping hand to United Way partner agencies, the elderly, and other nonprofits.  Volunteers will disperse from the Ada Jenkins Center to the projects sites which can be located in Mooresville, Davidson, Huntersville, Cornelius, Statesville and Troutman.  Projects may vary from light yard work, lawn mowing, landscape, painting and cleaning among others.  Most projects will be completed by noon.  For more information or to register yourself or a team, please contact Shelly at 704-664-2284 or swright@uwcentralcarolinas.org.  Deadline for registration is August 15th.  Thank you.
