Mooresville Christmas Parade Toy & Donation Drive

Travel Plus of NC will be collecting toys and donations for Toys for Tots in conjunction with the Mooresville Christmas Parade. Marines and Travel Plus personnel will be stationed with collection barrels at the corner of North Main Street and East Moore Avenue on November 23rd from 1:30 pm to 6:00pm and Shane Proctor, a top ranked Professional Bull Rider (PBR) in the Built Ford Tough Series World Finals, will be on hand for autographs and photos in exchange for donations. Last year between 12,000 and 15,000 people attended the parade; if only 10% of the people who attend this year bring a new unwrapped toy with them 1,500 toys could be collected and if each person donates just .50 cents $7,500 could be raised.

There is a special need for gifts for boys and girls birth to 18 months and 12 to 17 years old.
