Lunch and Learn - Senior Health Insurance
Join us at South Iredell Senior Center on Friday, January 29 at 12:30 for lunch and a fun program on Senior Health Insurance. The program offers assistance in helping you pay for your medications, information on changes to Medicare come June 2010, and basic information on senior health insurance. The SISC Readers Theatre will kickoff the program with some comedy fun that addresses medication safety. Guest speaker, Phyllis Deal, Iredell County SHIIP Coordinator will present on Senior Health Insurance and the changes to Medicare. Following Mrs. Deal?s presentation, SHIIP Counselors will be on site to enroll individuals for the Medicare Part D subsidy which provides financial assistance to qualifying individuals in paying for their medications.
