Look Good Feel Better sponsored by Iredell Memorial Hospital

The American Cancer Society's Look Good...Feel Better (LGFB) program teaches beauty techniques to patients in active treatment to help reduce the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatments. In LGFB sessions, volunteer cosmetologists lead the program that includes a 12-step skin care and makeup program designed to teach women how to cope with skin chaneges using products donated by the cosmetic industry.

Women also learn about hair loss, wigs, scarves and other accessories. Each participant receives a free gift kit (a $250 value) of full size name-brand cosmetics for use during and after the workshop.
