''Hounds for Hospice'' of Iredell County

Join Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County and the Ryan Newman Foundation for the inaugural, ?Hounds for Hospice? Charity Dog Walk, July 17th at the Statesville Park & Soccer Complex.

This event is sure to be fun for the entire family! Enjoy a morning filled with fun: a trail walk with your favorite four-legged friend, K-9 demonstrations, having your dog washed by Happy Tails, a mobile grooming services with 100% proceeds to Hospice of Iredell County. Also, browse several pet related vendors and enjoy fantastic food from Dawgs Chicken Express! You will have a chance to participate in raffles, silent auctions, and contests with all proceeds benefiting Hospice of Iredell County! Prizes include everything from Dog training sessions valued at $1300 and pet boarding certificates at some of the nicest boarding facilities in our area! While at the Charity Dog Walk, learn more about adoption from Iredell County Humane Society and the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue, and about SNIP, a non-profit low cost spay/neuter clinic new to the Mooresville area. Remember to bring cash for purchases, many of which proceeds will benefit Hospice of Iredell County. Unfortunately, credit cards will only be accepted from Silent Auction winners.

$25 registration per dog includes a ?doggie bag? with gifts for both the four-legged (canine) and two legged (human) participant! As many two legged friends are welcome with each dog registration. Upgrade your registration to our premier level at $50 and also receive a hardcover copy of Ryan & Krissie Newman?s new book, ?Pit Road Pets: Nascar Stars & Their Pets, The Second Lap.? Ryan & Krissie are excited to be attending this year?s event and will be available for a one-hour autograph session to the first 150 premier level registrants. Additional books will be available for purchase the day of the event.
