Free Small Business Counseling Services
First Wednesday of Each Month: MSI Chamber & Mitchell Community College - Small Business Center Counseling services will be provided to small business clients each Wednesday morning in one hour increments from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Topics frequently covered during initial counseling sessions include: Researching the market and doing a market analysis, determining the business structure, licensing requirements for Iredell County, state licensing requirements, information from the state Business Licensing Office, payroll information, income projections, marketing plan, and business plan overview. Individuals receiving counseling will receive a package of information and resources to assist them in the start-up process. Please contact the chamber office to schedule an individual counseling session with Mike Tucker, Director of the Small Business Center at Mitchell Community College 704-878-3227.
