Free Nature Program - Backyard Birds

Kaestner, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Huntersville, will present a talk on “Attracting Wild Birds to Your Yard” at the free monthly nature program of the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists planned for 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12 at Mooresville Public Library, 304 S. Main St.
     Kaestner will discuss the right kinds of food for various species of songbirds found in the Lake Norman area, as well as the use of bird houses and bird baths in helping to create an attractive Backyard Habitat. He will bring samples of products available to bird-lovers.
