FREE Home Fit Workshop

?Home Fit: Information and Tips for a Comfortable, Safe, and Livable Home? educates families about modifications they can make to their homes to make the home more accessible for elders, persons with disabilities, and for overall ease of functioning in the home as life changes. ?Home Fit? covers material for quick and easy changes to the home, and tips for dealing with the more difficult modifications that require professional assistance. The workshop is being conducted by AARP and will be held on Fri., Oct. 16 at South Iredell Senior Center from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Although the workshop is designed to educate adult children and their families about issues their aging loved ones may encounter, it is open to all interested. A light lunch will be provided from Panera Bread, to attend RSVP by Fri., Oct. 9.
