Exploring Calligraphy

Create your own beautiful box to give as a holiday gift or to save your holiday cards. Have you ever wanted to learn the art of fine penmanship? Perhaps you want to use calligraphy when signing your holiday cards or when writing gift enclosures or tagging your favorite baked goods or decorating scrapbook pages. The possibilities are endless! Students will learn lower-case letters, concluding with personalizing a beautiful green box. The 9” X 7” X 2.5” box is multipurpose and can be used for stationery, cards, or gifts. If possible, students who are left-handed are asked to come 15 minutes early. Please bring your own clipboard to class if you have one. All other supplies are provided by the instructor: calligraphy pen, folder, practice pages, and green box.
