Effective Communication Techniques

This FREE educational program will be held on Tues., Oct. 17 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. brought to you by South Iredell Senior Center in partnership with Vaya Health’s Geriatric & Adult Mental Health Specialty Team. Who should attend: staff and volunteers of aging services agencies, in-home care agencies, retirement and assisted living communities, ministerial staff, caregivers, companion sitters, and anyone else working with the aging community. Although this workshop is designed for those working with the aging population, it certainly can benefit anyone working in a customer service environment. Professionals in the field will receive one hour of free DHSR approved continuing education credit upon completion of the class. A light lunch will be included to accommodate work schedules.
