Community Blood Drive

The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas is kicking off the 2012 holiday season with its annual ‘Puppies for Patients’ program whereby donors who give blood in November and December will be able to sign a tag that will then be attached to a stuffed puppy and delivered to children in area hospitals.

Be a Holiday Hero!  CBCC will award one $1,000 scholarship to a student who organizes and hosts the most successful blood drive during the holidays. The blood drive must occur November 18 - 25 or December 22 - January 6. Students interested in becoming a holiday hero can call 704-972-4727.

*Please note the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas' minimum weight requirement for blood donors is 120 pounds.
