Community Blood Drive

Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) is recruiting students for its Sixth Annual ?Students Saving Summer Scholarship? program that runs June 1-Sept. 30, 2014. High school and college students who organize and host a successful blood drive with CBCC between June and September have the chance to earn scholarship money for their secondary education. CBCC has donation centers in Charlotte, Concord, Gastonia, Hickory, and Union County (http://www.cbcc.us/about/donor-center-hours.php for center hours). Please note the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas' minimum weight requirement for blood donors is 120 pounds.
