Benefit Motorcycle Ride - Ken Ervin, Retired County Police Officer, Race To Walk

Benefit Motorcycle Ride for Ken Ervin (Deputy Sherriff and Retired County Police Officer), will be held Sunday October 11, 2009. It is being sponsored by the Blue Knights, (Chapters XI and XIV); as well as Flip Flops of Gastonia. Proceeds will assist Ken to participate in the Race To Walk Program. He was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident in Kentucky on the way to attend a Blue Knights conference. Riders will be leaving from both the Gaston County Courthouse and the Catawba County Justice Center @ 1:00 PM. Estimated arrival at Race To Walk @ 1:45 PM. After touring the facility, the riders will continue on to Flip Flops in Gastonia. Race To Walk will be open for tours from 1:30 PM ? 3:30 PM on Sunday.
