SUMMARY:Casting Kids Event at Bass Tournament - Free Skin
DESCRIPTION:Casting Kids Event Scheduled and Free Skin Cancer Screenings are Made Available at Bass Tournament. \n\nChildren ages 7 through 14 may enter a Casting Kids event to be held Saturday March 10th at Queen?s Landing Hwy 150 Lake Norman.\n\nNo equipment is necessary. Previous casting experience is not required.  Members of the Balls Creek Bassmasters will be on hand to teach the youngsters the casting techniques. \n\nThe event starts at 12 noon and will continue until 4:30 pm or until all kids get a chance to compete. The actual competion takes about 10 minutes.    \n\nThe nation wide Casting Kids program is one of several youth oriented activities supported by the Bass Anglers Sportsman?s Society.  Winners of each local competion advance to regional events with a chance to go on to National competion where over $25\,000 in scholarship money is at stake. \n\nKids compete in two categories\, 7 to 10 years old and 11 to 14 years old.
